Eklavya works in 12 out of 17 hostels in the Shahpur block. Out of these 12 hostels, 2 are girls' hostels and the rest are boys. The objective of the work with the hostel children is to develop leadership qualities, cooperation and social sensitivity among the hostel children. For this Eklavya run libraries in all the 12 hostels. Along with this, the team also conducts regular discussions on topics like water or festivals. Regular writing activities are designed to help the children express themselves better.
