Collaborating for Curriculum Development and Teacher Education

Eklavya has worked with the NCERT in the development of the NCF 2005 and the textbooks, resource books etc. that were based on it.

We have been supporting the development of the National Curriculuar Framework for Teacher Education, 2009 and a model D. Ed syllabi based on it. Attempts are being made to help state governments such as in Chhatisgarh, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, carry this reform forward. Generation of learning materials for D.Ed. student teachers is also being planned.

Collaborating with SCERTs of Chattisgarh, Bihar, Rajasthan and Andhra Pradesh  in curriculum and text book development.

Collaborating with TISS, Mumbai and other organisations in conducting an MA in Elementary Education Programme. Attempts are afoot to develop a similar programme in Hindi medium as well.
