Sandarbh magazine needs a person on fellowship initially for a period of 6 months, after that a review will be done by the team members.
Major responsibilities will be as follows-
- Translation checking from English to Hindi of articles to be published in Sandarbh.
- Translation of articles from English to Hindi or Hindi to English.
- Copy editing, including proofreading and following the style sheet in Hindi.
- Working on indesign software with Hindi typing.
- Reading and giving feedback on articles.
- Categorisation of Sandarbh articles to prepare a database.
- Writing snippets and small pieces for Sandarbh.
- Contributing to other segments of the publication program, especially related to translating and vetting materials in English.
- Admin tasks related to Sandarbh.
- Checking and responding to emails of Sandarbh.
- Help in different tasks given by the associate editor and other team members.
During this phase, fellowship stipend would be Rs. 8,000-10,000 per month. In addition, meals, tea and stay will be taken care of by the organisation.
